Eid Al-Adha Prayer and Celebration


Dear Muslims in Fukuoka, Masjid committee wishes you Eid Mubarak, may Allah (SWT) accept your deeds in the blessed ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah. And may Allah (SWT) send his blessings and bounties upon you and your families.


Arafah Day Iftar:

Fukuoka Masjid would like to invite you on Wednesday, 23rd of September (Dhu al-Hijjah 9th) for Iftar.

Fasting on the Day of Arafah:

Fasting on the day of Arafah is a confirmed Sunnah for those who are not performing Hajj. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about fasting on the day of Arafah and he said: “It expiates for the past and coming years.” According to another narration: “I ask Allah that it may expiate for (the sins of) the year that comes before it and the year that comes after it.”


Eid Prayer:

Eid Al-Adha is Thursday, 24th September. Eid prayer starts at 9:00 AM SHARP. Please be on time.

Muslims will have a light breakfast after Eid prayer. Please bring a dish of food or sweets to share with the community.


Eid Barbecue Party:

Fukuoka Masjid announced it would arrange a barbecue party at Ito Campus on Saturday, 26th of September at 11:00 AM.
